Clan War GFU vs SS

Hey dogg, if this doesn't confuse matters, in our ladder, we are playing against another clan called {ss}. They are Secret Society. This has begun to get confusing with my own clan, however, we'll be facing them tomorrow, and then things might not be so complicated.

by the way Mike...i just noticed you recruited blueballs. Good choice, hes a solid player that does what it takes to win. I think he will fit nicely in gfu.

too muchgfu vs ss was really funny,we won it with success....if you want another scrim%? ask to lord zog!scrim is a good training for using ladder.you have my respect gfu clan....i no your good teammates and you give good challenge . christmas tommorrow!!!!! i think i will :beer:

I think I'll skip over the factual discrepancies of the previous post and just say that I would love to see more scrimmages between GFU and SS. I've heard rumors that SS is thinking about getting involved in some leagues. If so, both they and GFU would greatly benefit from some scrimmages to test out some strategies on each other. It's much better to find out during a scrim rather than a match that your strategy doesn't work.

Agreeing to Burningwick's post, I would also love to see GFU scrimmage SS more often. Everynight almost, SS has at least 5 players on the oc48. We have a server now and we would love to get in a few scrimmages vs. you guys. It would be great practice for both sides and a huge help to you guys in the future if you intend to go into any sort of ladders, leagues, tourneys, etc. We could go to your server Zog, or we could go to ours. Ours holds 16, and we can sometimes even play 7 v 7. However, if you guys want to come to ours, all of your players would have to have "allow downloads" turned on. It is just a simple 2 minute download from the server. It installs it automatically too. We won't be updating or taking this mod off due to clan wars at our leage ladder, but it would be nice if some of you guys would download it and fight at our server sometime. We'll put a password on it, and I'll post the IP up here if any of you guys are interested.

What, pray tell, factual discrepancies are you refering to? I don't see any. You should be the most objective person on this subject, Burningwick. Are you questioning the leader of S.S. on a matter of opinion in a public forum? What clan tag do you use while playing on O.C.??? This is not meant as a flame post. Just posing some questions. I'll give former/present? teammate the benefit of the doubt.

Iceman, I wasn't addressing Elite's opinions as to who is the best clan on OC48. That's a subject I'm not even going to touch. I was addressing his very first statement about the GFU vs SS scrimmage. As all are well aware, this has been a very touchy subject. Members of both clans have done well in the past in dealing with this in a tactful manner. Unfortunately, this post brought up the subject in a rather inflammatory manner. Rather that wait for the imminent flame war to begin, I noted that not everyone agreed with the statement; even the truely neutral.

Things are going well between SS and GFU right now. We're looking at scheduling some friendly scrimmages in the future that would be of great benefit to both clans. Therefore, I don't feel that it is in either clan's best interests to start a flame war with the other. So, if we want to discuss the previous scrimm, I would be happy to in pm. We both know what that discussion will lead to here in the public forum. :roll:

what is it that we are downloading again and what does it do?

Edogg, OSP 82a is like a punkbuster and it catches a lot more things than pb though. It has certain settings you must abide by, but usually everyone who downloads it doesn't have a problem with it. It is hard to get Aimbots into osp servers and other cheatware. You can still go to any other servers with this mod. It only is activated ( I suppose) whenever you enter a server with 82a settings. Try connecting to our server sometime. The IP is 204.157.6.74:0. There is no password on it as of now. Make sure you have "allow downloads" on though so you can download it.
