Yes that is exactly what happened...you just forgot to mention some things. Who kept sending me messages begging and pleading with me to join his team? I mean really. I go afk for about 5 minutes and I come back to check what I missed with chat. I see tons of messages like "Hey man, you there?", "Where are you?", "Can you come to my team if you are there plz?", "Dude please come!!", "Mang, please!", "Damn I am down to my last life on ally. HELP!". It went on like this. I am cold but I am not heartless. I really did not have much choice but to join.
It's funny how you forget these things when it makes you look good.

Either you don't know what personally means or you think you can peer into my thoughts.
As for your short fictional comedy aphid, it would be about as likely to happen as me asking PL M@ster to come on my team, cuz I needed his expertise and smg wielding, frontal labotomy skills. rofl

Well he better put on those Speedos with the phrase Team Woot stitched on the ass then. Cause you just hired yourself a new team member.

My theory regarding the use of /kill is this: Rarely, it IS necessary in the game when one completely runs out of ammo and doing a charge with the knife against an array of well-armed long range foes is just a lemming run. Too, if you're caught behind the wall as an ally and realize not one of the 25 guys on your side went Engineer, /kill is usefull to go engineer fast.
The large majority of /kill uses are by people that just don't want to get owned. It makes their toes curl, their lips twitch, their bladder convulse, when they see one of their ever changing names 'killed by' so-and-so. Why do they change their names? Because /kill garners no respect. Even a new name, especially one done with fancy colors, gains more respect than a guy who is known as so-and-so the /kill queen.
The expression 'take it like a man' comes to mind.... and I guess some people just can't take it like a man. I would imagine in their closed world of one or two friends they can giggle to each other over Ventrillo or Team-speak about how they just performed the best /kill ever.
I might not be liked by many because of my firm admin styles, but I can guarantee I'm respected as a fighter. And you know what? When a guy takes me out in a good fight, I respect that guy. I'll even say 'good shot'. I WANT to know who killed me. Why? Because I want to know who to respect. I'm glad good players don't change their names. It's a good sense of comradirie, a few games later, to fight beside them, knowing you're fighting beside a cool guy who can handle things going on at your back.
Keek.
