No, that's absolutely wrong. 64-Bit isn't the only change. The memory-controller is on the CPU now and not on the motherboard anymore, which makes the A64 3200+ a lot faster than Intel's Pentium 4-3.2GHz (especially in games).
Ok, it would cost 80€ more because of the motherboard, but it's worth it.

I do believe the parts are recycled from the bf servers...thus they're not paying any money for new parts.

Our main BF server has had that hardware ever since I built it, same thing with the BFV server.
The parts I am replacing it with are coming from a ECGN server that I decommissioned.
It doesn't matter where it came from, the point is it came!

I really havnt noticed any changes to the lag myself. But I dont get lag
. Will this help lessen the amount of crashes/server restarts, hope it does. Its always good to see over 40 people on
