Invitation to play BattleField 1942

I am here to represent the BF:V community. Basically, here is the run down of whether or not to get 1942 or Vietnam. First off, how well does your system run? If it is an older system, than 1942 will definitely be more forgiving. However, if system isn't of concern, then you have to ask yourself, are you into strategy, or fast paced fire fights? If you looking for a fast paced game, with nice man to man fire fights, BF:V is where it is at. If your looking for a game where formations are key, and strategy is the name of the game, especially with tanks, then 1942 is where it is at. Don't get me wrong, they both involve strategy, however, since I like to be the grunt, and go in on foot, I enjoy BF:V more. It seems that most of the ground pounders in 1942, whose favorite vehicle happened to be their boots, are playing BF:V now.

It would be nice to see #1 full again so I don't have to play on tard servers

played sp demo cool liked it

so OK I am downloading MP demo- what games/servers can I join with that?

I gotta convience the powers that be that I need to buy another game. ANy ideas will help.

That's easy, it's Historical...and you can learn a lot about World War II.

"Try using the ingame server browser, it should find all the
demo servers. it's been a long time since i searched
for demo servers.

That's a good idea, download the demo for free to see if you
like the game. The demo runs one map "Wake". It was
a great choice of Dice (coders of the game) to use it. It
has planes, tanks, Apc's, jeeps, one destroyer, landing craft.
