yep, format before fdisk. After fdisk, there will be no partitions to format.
And I agree, our conceptual monkeydog-robot would be impervious to any format/fdisk attack! I've gotta get to work on this, I've got a few friends that good with tools!

It would be faster to just fdisk first. Once the partitions are gone you don't need to format until you make a new parition.Originally posted by cavalierlwt

ANyone, those commands wouldn't work on an NTFS only drive, or even an NTFS dynamic disk like mine.

you forgot the \'s...thats ok though!
i prefered to pipe the directory with the 'more' flag.
ex. c:\dir |more
also, you f'd (for evan) up on the e:\ cd c:
this brings you back to e:\
from e:\ all you gotta type is this.....e:\ c:
which will bring you to the c:\ prompt
