See Slaughter knows, after gaming since '91 on my 386. I know when a game is hyped so much, it never ever lives up to it.................... perfect example number 10,234

For those of you that have purchased the PC version. I've heard that the game is best suited for a console. Would I be better off getting the XBox360 version? I watched some videos of SP gameplay on YouTube and it looks like it would be fun and worth the money for that alone, I hear it's short though, about 9 hours average.

Which do you think it's better for, PC or Xbox?

*not looking for answers from those who had to get the money from their mothers in order to purchase the game.

Thats a fast price drop. For those who do not want to buy it you can download the full game on torrents using isohunt, demonoid, etc.

I've heard people complain that certain keyboards are being detected as gamepads. Having said that, where there's a will there's usually a way I guess. Is it worth playing? Beta left me cold although my PC could barely render frames. I hear Wolfmod and particularly Shrapmod help things a bit...?

Not that I know of. I doubt there would be one anyways, because it would defeat the purpose of a console. Console shooters have stuff like auto-aim that snap to targets and are dumbed down versions of computer fps. It takes a little practice with the gamepad and then it actually gets kind of fun. Wouldn't want to play it in competition settings though. Watch some Halo 3 frag vids and you'll wonder how the hell can they be that accurate...

bump part 2.

SP was actually better than I thought. Made it seem like a RPG/shooter which is a fresh idea. Story is just an extension of RTCW. Veil attributes are cool and add a cool spin to using weapons. Empower = beast mode. The game is a good thrill for about a week, but the MP is no where it should be, or what we are used to so it cannot possibly measure up to it.
