The mauser limit was 2 at one time but once people were a little more comfortable with new maps I raised the limit to 3 because some maps like assault and tram balance out a little better with 3.

I can certainly raise and lower the limit based on what map is being played but I never looked at it as a huge problem...especially when you have 40-50 players on the server.

To compare it to the Panzer is just ludicrous.

i consider the panzer and the mauser to be similar weapons in the hands of noobs. see dr death/dogday/warpig/kman's 18-30 stat lines. i just think the homos who sniper all game end up fucking their teammates on allies, leaving them down 2-3 players. this leads to imbalance.

Anyone happen to catch that total annihilation game I had last night?
It would have made one of the best RTCW demos of all time. And served as a good lesson for noobs such as this Caffeine clown on how to stop a full Allies team against 3 Axis.
Poor Allies, 4 failed attempts at running in the docs within the last 3 minutes of the game.
Brain power is the ultimate weapon in this game...hence why we have so many who suck...cough..cough..caffeine...
