I understand the concern around voting, so perhaps MAA you can think about maybe adding one or two admins to the roster who are actively playing and seem like responsible players. I would second KrazyKaze, he's also on mainly at times others like msB are not so would be great to have someone for a map rotation then.

I remember those TWL days. I support this, as well.

I think we're 30 something posts in now. Any progress on this?

I've been on the server for several hours last few days and I have yet to see Magus on the server. CPT Awesome has been doing rotations lately but he isn't on all the time.

It's Saturday night of the 4th of July weekend, and we had a good crowd from 7 PM until almost 1 AM EST. There were no admins on for the duration, and it was Beach the whole time. I am here to offer to go through the correct channels for obtaining the ability to change maps. The skill level was good, the overall attitude was good, the constantly one-map format, not-so-much.
Thank you for PMing me if this is a viable possibility.

I COMPLETELY agree. Last night was incredible! We had so much energy and people were having a decent time, but we all badly needed a map change!

I can be an Admin as well, I have the weekends off of work and I'm always on!

The people have spoken. This thread is still live. 4th of July has come and gone. What a perfect time to enable map votes and put this all to bed.

lol, so in an effort to help with all the "demand" for map rotations, I thought i'd spin up RtCW in a VM today so I could continue to work while sit in spec and occasionally change the map as people requested.

So I asked (several times) "anyone want to do a rotation?" ... nothing. 20 people on, and I got one private message that said "no thanks."

That being said, I am going to try to do this occasionally during the work week when I know people are on and playing, but there are rarely admins on, to help out and maybe throw some different maps up until MAA has some daytime admins in place.

Hello guys,

I very much welcome any diversity, never rly understood why the srv goes around beach mostly. I accept that voting is disabled because of abuse. Anyone with the rights to change map bears a burden since not everyone is happy with an actual map.

I'm not very much liked by many so don't wish to be an admin myself, but if there would be eg. a given day when rotation needs admins or when ppl cry for maps cus it's just beach for the 23rd time, I would do the job (only the mapchange part) if noone else does. Consider this as an offer. Nothing more, nothing less.

There are plenty of ppl who we could trust, the more of them are capable of changing maps is the better. Imo.

J.
