The only thing I did wrong was name my folder demo instead of demos.

sorry if it sounded patronising squirrel!

but i did it for everyone not just you, so even people who don't know much about computers could sort out the problems!

if you have recorded demos they should go in the demos folder! but if you have recorded them in shrub you have to go to the shrub mod folder and open the demos folder and move them to your main\demos folder! this is the same for bani and i think osp!

when you make your post attach the files in zip files!

the attachment thing is at the bottom just above the submit button, click browse and find the file you zipped up!

sorry if i am being patronising again!:D but to zip files you need a program like winzip or winrar! http://www.winzip.com

they need to be zipped because they are big and it normally reduces their size and the forums might not support the .dm_60 file type! but they do support .zip :freak:

We can explain it more slowly if you need us to; you're not big sports guys?:lol:

my binds with /bind space record and /bind j stoprecord aren't working, well, it doesnt record in the first place, I can play the other demos I downloaded from you all though, some are pretty swank!

try binding them again with the same buttons, very often i loose all or some of my binds for no apparent reason! it happens after i play a different server!:mad:

when you press those buttons does anything pop up on the screen near the top saying started recording demo0005 etc? because if it does then they work! if you are having trouble finding the demos you have recorded you might want to look in the shrub folder in the demos folder in there!

Return To Castle Wolfenstein\Shrub\demos\
Return To Castle Wolfenstein\bani-mod\demos\

or whatever mod you recorded them on! 24/7 beach is shrub!

LOL I was trying to return the docs via boat. My own teammate killed me then ran em back. Too funny that I kill a cubsfan on the way out

I watched those demos extreme... major wallhack there. I like how he used the engineer to boost though, that was cool I have to try that.

Also Xtreme... nce run there. i like how you faked like 3 guys out by running into the room with the beds then ran right back the long way, very nice run.

I can't get any of these demos to work. I am so dumb when it comes to all the different types of files. :wall:

If anyone has the time, can you post the steps on what I have to do to view them after I download them.

I download them, then what do I do from there?

this is the next step for all you demo recorders!

i downloaded that movie about strafe jumping made from demos! it was great i knew it could be done and sorta knew how to do it! but in the readme of the movie was an address to:

apicalypse

the tutorial on here explains how to make movies in detail! i made a quick one to show you what can be done!

!!!NOTE!!! this video has been compressed highly for the download speed and much better looking videos can be made! also it is wmv so you may or may not need a codec!

I disagree, I dont see a wallhack. At upper base...he saw an axis go down the backstairs, timing would indicate that he would be somewhere in the basement. When people run, they make noise...you can hear them come around corners, when there isnt a bunch of chaos everywhere.

And he also didn't use the engineer to boost. He never touched the engineer, its a trick jump to get over breach. I can't do it, but ask Maynard, I hear he can on occasion.

damn i have to try headphones... i was thinking when he was downstairs he was using ahack cuz you couldnt even see the guy but then he backs up and waits for him.
