halo on Xbox...thats the only other game i love...sumtimes i'll play True Crime:Streets of LA for PS2..or even Kelly SLaters pro surfer on PS2..but thats about it..and sumtimes i like a lil' on-line checkers...but not to often

I have Halo for Xbox, and it's alright a little childish though. I'm thinking the comp version would be better? I have it but haven't played it yet.

Rise of Nations, Thrones and Patriots is awesome. I love that game. Been playing that for the last couple of months. The war elephants are always fun to watch:)

Farcry looks nice. I like the graphics. And Doom 3 I just recently downloaded but haven't really gotten into it.

i've gotten tired of doom 3. My friends tell me i just gotta make it to hell, but aside from the incredible awe-inspiring graphics, doom 3 is just another "walk in a room kill shit push a button" game.....just too linear for me.

I agree Destructor. I like the engine, but think the game itself is just slightly above average. Hopefully some good mods will come out in the future. Also, maybe because the game only runs on my comp with low graphical settings, but I just don't see a huge improvement in graphics over games like Farcry and Painkiller. Painkiller uses the hl2 engine (I think) and it is silky smooth on my comp, and the visuals impressed me more than Doom 3 (maybe because its hard to see anything in Doom?).

And Doom3's multiplayer is very weak (as expected)...even though it has a remake of The Edge from Quake II, my absolute favorite deathmatch map of all time.

Yea Multiplayer was weak, but Single Player was a lot of fun, unfortunatly even at the lowest graphic settings, i still get hardware lag like %40 of the time. Im planning on gettting a new card soon anyway. But for multiplayer i get no hard ware lag at all, but find i ping bad to every server, where in every other game, i even ping good to Euro servers.

I agree, but it is scary and that is kind of fun...it is more addictive than I thought, but not as good a "game" as BF because of the teamwork in BF and BFV for that matter.
