Re: Favorite ECGN Players
I had fun "back in the day". I was far from the best player, and I probably took myself a little more seriously than I should have...but I did find a niche trolling the ducts with my venom.
I think the points I racked up there were a bit skewed (at the time because I was near the OBJ, I think I got credited with more points than I deserved), but I felt the ducts were an important bottle-neck that needed guarding.
One night Weasel Meat and I set up camp in the ducts. He was a flamer, and I was feeding him ammo endlessly. He'd just sit there with the trigger pulled all the time as the Allies kept pouring in. I was laughing my ass off.
Another night Bubba set up behind me as a medic and we basically mowed down each allied player about 10 times each. I forget the final tally, but after a while the only allies coming our way were the ones bent on wedging me and the Bubster out for good.
If I showed up there now, in my rusty form, I'd embarass myself.

LoL plus when the server was full there would always be someone behind you anyway so there was absolutely nowhere to go
Re: Favorite ECGN Players
psh i remember old school S.S. when i would be a medic flamethrower in the ducts (when we could have any weapon we wanted) with a LT feeding me ammo. even though they knew they would never get through they all tried anyway

Lol I used to hold the ducts with a venom for hours. People would back up like cattle then all you had to do was stop firing for 5 seconds and then pop out again barrels spinning and you'd get the easiest 5 kills in the world. Of vourse that was back in the old medi-venom days

Re: Favorite ECGN Players
I'd use a combination of venom and nades. You could peek around the corner and just prime a nade toss around the bend and gib 2 closely bunched people, then pop out with the venom to mop up the meds trying to revive or heal their comrades..
I'd also vary between the first corner and the back corner, to keep the Allies guessing. They'd never know which corner I'd pop out from. And it was a gas to hold that ticking nade and watch that poor lead Allied scum inch forward to his death.
I used to love the "Mega-Nade Packs" you could drop, with 10 nades in them. I could stay in that duct all frikin night, and as long as the "Inactivity Nazi" didn't boot me, I ruled the roost there.

This was always fun.

Dr. Klein and Smudge are my favorites...great team players and they're always willing to switched to the UN- stacked team
