knives: takes 1-2 backstabs to kill a player
throwing knives: takes 3-4 to take down a player

(the second number is for medics while the first applies to other classes)

For me when I throw a knife it takes about 2-3 hits to kill them, but I am stabbing them the entire time though.

A knife is better than a pistol in my opinion.

For you Drax.... You'd need a team of chirpa's weighed down heavily with knap-sacks bristling with steel...

... Dude.... I laughed so hard one night after fighting you I nearly spit my coffee out. You came into a room with me, knives flaying everywhere... I had one round left before re-load, managed to plug you with it, then, after the time to reload, took you out in about 8 hits.... The room had flashy knives lying everywhere and I back-peddled out with no damage

As for Ticks...you get my praise man. Took me awhile to not get freaked out when I came within range of your Ninja-Mulinex routine. I think knife-kills should be added to the game-end honor role.

I agree that Knife Kills should be added to the List at the end of a match.

something that really disappoints me is the fact that the option of killng someone kicking someone else ass like singleplayer against nazis would have been really fun... that is what the game really be if all people continue complaining about some weapons to be decreased its number... can you imagine a server where you only have to kick the ass each other with no weapons 64 players:D

There used to be games similar to that... Final Fight, Double Dragon, Streets of Rage...

One guy against armies of thugs in mostly unarmed combat...

An unarmed team combat game might be interesting, with lots of martial arts and impossible moves you could pull... but the first-person perspective wouldn't be ideal for that type of thing IMO...

hmm, maybe they could start a thing where they try out different settings each week (Such as no panzer, partial leut charge, limited venoms etc) and then after we have tried them all, have a pole in this forum about which one they thought was the best and then maybe keep it that way for a while, Er, actually that seems like alot of work

Have you ever played "blade the edge of darkness"? since that game in 1º person view / 3º person view you can kick asses punch enemies with your arms and legs besides using axes, spears, sword, hammers...

Files need to be in .jpg format to show up on the screen, otherwise you will get a link to the file.
