You guys fight over every little thing. Its only one day out of the week. Its not going to be an every day thing. So if you dont want to play on that one day then fine you can add another 24 hours of game play to your stats the next day. I was going to write a long thing on the fight that took up like 3 pages but theres no point. If we keep fighting no side will be happy.

Hi again,
You want to solve easily that panzer problem? Turn on the team killing and allow people to complain about TK's.. you'll see, there will be a natural selection: after being ejected a couple of times because he blew up a team mate, a player will change his way of playing and will fast adopt a 'normal' weapon (MP40...)
Bye

Let's say 2 TK (if FF could be turned on only for panzer, it would be ideal) in a game and you're kicked out for at least 5 or 10 minutes). You'll see that people can fastly change their way of playing.

nope you can tk on accidnet way too easy..all that has to happen is you go to fire and noob walks in front of you...now instead of just the noobs getting kicked your getting kicked as well

I hate when that happens, and if by chance I do that to someone by accident I will apologize. TK's most of the time are by mistake.

We should be a little bit realistic. When I fire the panzer, it's, most of the time, to blow people who are at 20-100 meters (in the bunker from the beach, in the upper bunker from down there...)
What I propose is turning on FF for one thing: trying to allow people to increase their accuracy and imporve themselves!!!
When being kicked several times, we would think deeper about using panzer AND shooting everywhere from everywhere.
I think we would more think about the efficiency of it. It's easy to kills opponents with the panzer BUT less easy to work for your team with the panzer.
Some of us (I'm part of it, sometimes) fire with the panzer without paying attention to the amount of people shot by. If you sometimes wait a few seconds more, you could make more dammage and more victims (this reminds me a thread where Keekanoo spoke about the same...)
I know Keek is right when he reduced the amount of panzer because 95% of the panzer users do this without considering their place into the squad. BUT, according to me, there were something personnal behind. Some frustration maybe. According to me, was the use of gravity enough to make a 'natural' selection...
Gruss,
Xavier

nahhh being kicked several times would just be flat out annoying and quite a few players espaecially newer people would't come back

Xav.... No person can live without being personally involved in the things around them. In that sense, of course my reaction/involvement to the faust dilema is personal.
Given the amount of times I've spent monitering the allied forward spawn to slap, launch, fling, throw, shake, kick, tempban and ban faust users probably makes me a world expert on their particular brand of blocking.
So yeah, keeping the game-flow smooth for the majority to enjoy does mean I'm personally involved. I don't think anyone who's seen me sit for long stretches in the bunker just to ensure noobs don't ruin the game for everyone could accuse me of being motivated by selfish reasons.
Actually--that isn't true. I don't WANT to sit in that bunker changing diapers. I'd rather play the game. So, maybe it is personal of me. I feel all dirty now. o_0

if you want to play the game and not baby sit then maybe you shouldnt be an admin. although being an admin shouldnt feel like work the way beach runs its like a 24/7 job. i know being an admin isnt easy and its like a job but sometimes you shouldnt worry about watching the foward bunker door and just play. if someone complains about a blocker then kick them. dont make the game stressful its supossed to be fun. i am sure you want to be an admin but you make it out to be a stressful job, which it is, and things tend not to be fun when your not enjoying it.

The door blocking will always be prevalent. Some players, no matter what weapon they have, will simply freeze at that forward spawn and have their team-mates pile up behind them.
Part of being an admin is having to deal with that. I've sacrificed my game for the purpose of slapping or kicking some repeated door blocking scum many times. It's admittedly a weak point in the game, but it's one that cannot be changed.
Once you're an Admin, you're always an admin...subject to the temperamental tantrums of attention-seeking smacktards and the game ruining, door blockers (both intentional and un-intentional).
You can't solve blocking problems by asking for weapons limitations, or expect the world to come into a public server (with Friendly Fire off, no less) and behave like seasoned veterans.
That being said, when I play I'm not often in the nurturing mode. If someone comes in and is a general nuisance, I boot them first. If they come back and ask "Why?" in a civilized manner I'll explain the rules. If they come back with an attitude I've effectively discovered a potential head-case.
It does throw a wrench into my machinery, but I've come to accept that as part of being an admin. Being an admin doesn't mean I'm out to teach the world about the game and it's nuances, it means I'm there to stop potential idiots from ruining the game for the other players.

geeze powerful arguments going on, sorry to say that evolution, while inevitable, takes time.
as far as taking off ALL limits man gotta see that, yeah and ill bet these forums will be 3 times as busy with prayers of ending the madness.
Mr. Zog would YOU be attending, ill meet ya at the boats, hmm wounder how far well get. but if not i will be speaking German that day AND im sure everyone on my team will have a great time
I think it will be very interesting, maybe thats what folks need to see, as 64 players is to many for bch, without limits

Nazi-Killer, you should rent server space with ECGN, and deal with the tards that come to play. After doing that for a few months, talk to me about not worrying and just let things be. Not that I worry about it. I do a job. There are peak times of tard activity, typically around 5pm est. I'm off work at that time, so it's my moment to sit, drink a coffee, relax, and deal with the worst of the blocking mania.
I don't fret about it or get worked up about it. Admins are specifically chosen for their ability to remain cool and not take things personally.
Nazi-Killer, do you drive? There's a thing called 'wave-theory phenomena'.... basically cars slow down to rubber-neck at something, the cars behind them break slightly more to maintain a safe distance AND see what's going on....before you know it, 5 minutes later, traffic is at a near stand-still for no apparent reason.
If admins just let things be and only ever kicked the worst of the tards, the Beach, being a public server and one catching the eye of new game-owners due it's population, would get a ripple affect of blockers to the point that no one would give a shit about blocking anywhere. They all do it--I will too.
So Nazi-killer, please refrain from telling me or other admins how to run the job when you arn't in our shoes. There are things to consider that go beyond just a guy sniping in the spawn. I don't allow it because the next tard sees it and uses it as a justification for fireing his faust--before you know it (I've seen it many times) you have whole groups in there, meds healing, lt's giving ammo, and snipers, venomers and faust-boys using it as their fire-base.
Admining may seem strict sometimes, and yes, I've lost my cool a few times, but the over-all flow at the Beach is superb given it's public access.
Seriously Nazi-killer, rent some space at ECGN and create your own world to administer. Dollars to donuts you won't keep it public.
Keek.

I never said once how to do your job. I just thought you needed a vacation or something because of the complaining you did over door blockers.
And I was thinking of getting a server. Shipwreck has a server and hes not on it all the time. He is the only one that can kick on his server, so if theirs door blockers people playing have to deal with it.
I was saying to take a day off when its no holds barred day and just play. Not saying take every day off from door blockers. But on no holds barred day you should just spam air strikes and have a good time. I dont like long arguments and things, and since everyone takes offense to every little thing I will probably just start posting to things that arent about the Beach, because it should be called Bitch 24/7.
And I dont think you needed to put my name in your little essay over and over because everyone here knows you are talking to me.
And if I did get a server, it would stay public because I really wouldnt care if people were blocking. If I am on and someone complains then I would kick them. (the door blockers) When I am not on, if possible give others admin rights, and let other admins do what they want to rule breakers.
Thats the last time I will ever use your name in one of my posts, or even reffer to you in any of my posts because obviously its only going to turn into a huge argument I dont feel is needed. This isnt a political section, its RTCW. So basically I am just going to stay out of your way and let you do your thing while I do mine.
Good day.
