You guys are 1337 we're not, sure, fine, whatever. Thanks for calling by to prove it again. Now can you go back to you're parents basement and unstick the pages of your victorias secret catalogue so you can do some more of your second favorite passtime. Seriously get a grip of yourselves, this shit is old and still nobody cares.

Isn't there an irc channel for this kind of aimless attacking of other peoples skils/ personalities? Should I have said this there?

Flamers

Postby Stl Lunatic » Sun Oct 17, 2004 11:58 am

Has anyone ever noticed that if you are a flamer that you can go underwater and still shoot flames upword; while never loosing any ammo at all? Useless but quite fun;) :rotflmao:

So you mean to say that using a flamer underwater is like having infinite ammo?

It's a bug,m if you start flaming then hold the attack button and crouch to go under water your flames keep flaminbg where they were before, even as you go away, and it uses no ammo.

Yes, there is an irc channel (#utensils on irc.gamesurge.net - you can get mIRC from http://www.mirc.com). You posted a screenshot using the l33t javairc client on IE (on a mac no less...which baffles my mind). Stop by for longer than a few mins, say something and maybe ^wo0t or another one of the "1337" players will converse with you. It's quite fun.

As far as your "nobody cares" comment, the amount of conversation that these threads generates speaks to quite the opposite - People obviously enjoy poking fun at each other. FFS, this is the internet, and this is a noob server message board. What else do you expect?

Funniest...post...ever. By the way your last sentence made perfect sense, and I only got 4 hours of sleep last night.

Hate to be the grammar police, but when you say "your too stupid" you really mean "you're too stupid". I can't begin to describe the annoyance I feel from people calling others "stupid" when their own post is in the same realm as those they were berating. The education system has failed yet another person.

Bert

DiesToEasy is the king of the medic + venom strat. Too bad a few nicely placed headshots will kill any venom and they are too damn slow to strafe.

Its a online thread man....not a school paper or office memo.

Wow, someone remembered something from highschool english class. You'll find that once you get into the real world of english, your active voice > passive does not always apply, just ask keek.

BTW, it's commonly understood to use "an" in front of a word that begins w/ or the beginning of it sounds like a vowel (of course there are exceptions). You didn't get the memo? Don't worry, "you're" secretary should have a firm grasp of this concept.

I love it Rolphcopto / Woot and all the other 'nom de plumes' that are being used
All the correction and so forth of grammer and spelling etc. is very funny. What kind of job[s] do[does each of] you have? You do have a lot of time to parse out your wisdom and instructional skills to all those who need your help.

I can imagine you at the Beach or BF typing into teamchat to correct each player's message for grammar, tense etc. Now that would really be impressive!
