How did you jump the seawall? Do you need a script to do that jump?

yeah its the \+salute jump, it wasn't done on ecgn. that was done on the mad clan server mad4fun or whatever it is called!

apparently it can be done on ecgn still if you have great ping and a good config! makes me laugh! the guy on top of the bunker shate himself! :lol:

things about the movie... first off you need higher frame rate, second need it too be brighter, third you have too much Sh!t on your screen lol, not hard to fix, ill upload something when i make it lol, give me until this weekend and ill post a decent movie setup.... probably be bigger

almost forgot... need at leased 640x480 res... no higher then 1024x768 works good

same video again but this time recorded with fraps as i wanted to try mixing music in with the game sounds! plus it is brighter as its using my playing config rather than defaults!

I'm actually making a movie currently...and I've been able to get about the same amount of detail as your hi quality movie, only with a silky smooth frame rate and about 1/4 the size. I've found fraps to be somewhat lackluster, I've been sticking to avidemo and its been working great so far. Fraps is definately faster tho in gathering the footage as it takes my comp about an hour of just processing to get a 30 second clip.

I'm only about 1/2 way done....been too busy with work lately, I'll probably finish it this weekend.

fraps runs really well on my machine as i have loads of space, the video it produces is good but i encoded it poorly as i don't even have the right encoding codec for xvid. i have ffdshow and it doesn't give you all the options.

whats the config like you are using as i haven't got a good one and have tried default and my playing config and im not impressed by either.

I agree that fraps sucks. Mine is almost done, I have a private test out atm, basically I'm told I need new view angles, hopefully the real thing will be done by sunday, then I can show how much rem sucks

(but really rem's movie is good, except he can only kill a max of 3)

here is a sample using a fairly good config and it is encoded alot better than the others! currently the resolution is too big so i will be putting that down a bit! also the sound might be out by a couple of frames as i currently don't have a good video editing application (currently using virtualdub).

this was done using cl_avidemo rather than fraps! it has come out much better imo:

i really liked your video lao, can't wait to see when its finished! also how did you get that sorta shadow on the names of the people you killed! i have seen it in a couple of vids before! is it after effects? :freak:

There's shadows on the names?? Well it's from the game, when I make my next video after this one is finished, I'm going into effects more. I'll take away the top left of the screen with all the kills, Ill also the the "you killed ..." taken out and use a subtitler. Next I will take away the crosshair and lastly I will add a light motion blur too smooth out the image. But I need to finish this one

Edit: oh yeah also I tried using Xvid with some presets from other people who made movies, but they didn't work out, weren't clear and nasty file size, so stiiv told me to give wmv 9 a try, IT IS WAYYY BETTER, PERFECT PICUTRE WAY BETTER FILE SIZE, USE IT!
