Not to start any drama..but if you don't even know what it is..how do you know it's addictive?

It's too bad we live in a society that says we had to drug our children so they don't act like children I'm not ragging on anyone that is a teacher because believe me I wouldn't want your job, but it just seems to me that when a child is unruly in the classroom the first action of recourse is to put them on medication. We have some schools around here where the kids line up for their ritalin because most of the kids in the class are on it.

I think the point that Weasel was making was the way that some were talkiing about the high that adderall gave. It wasn't being used for the purpose it was intended which may have led some to believe that rather than being used for ADHD it was being passed around to people that didn't need it just for the high. Sorry Weasel if I'm completely wrong and have mispoken.

For all intents and purposes I agree with Weasel and Siren altho I admit I did try pot in my teens but 20 years ago pot was somewhat different than it is now so I've heard. It was not nearly as potent as it is now.

I'm just talking about the weed, not that other adderall or whatever. I've never even heard of it.

Speaking from witnessing many people use pot in high school and college there were maybe 10% of people that just used it occasionally on weekends when we went out. I'd say about 60% used it regularly and it affected their grades. Then 30% used it so much that it lead to arrest, dropout, alcoholism and/or more intense drug use. Point is stay away, don't even start.

I'm not saying I was a choir boy but i didnt have my 1st drink til 19, and have only been drunk probably 10 times my whole life and all of those were before 25 years old... I guess getting married mellowed me.......

It's always kinda funny to me that a society that pretty much worships the party lifestyle as the highest attainable goal in life with a govenrnment that endorses alcohol use is so strongly opposed to things like marijuana.. I'm not totally up to date on current legislation of all stats but I know there are a few where even a simple charge of possesion of pot can get you a longer jail sentence than rape.

You want to tell me there's a downside to smoking to much pot? Yeah definitely but there's a downside to drinking too muchm there's a downside to eating fried chicken every day of your life, there's a downside to breathing the damn air in most major cities. And you're gonna single out one relatively harmless drug as this huge problem?

And yeah it definitely amuses me when people who've never touched the stuff claim to know it ruins people's lives. Maybe these weren't the most stable people to begin with? Maybe there were other problems that caused their life to go downhill? Hell maybe yeah they just smoked too much. If you think that makes pot evil then I assume you think alcohol is evil too (just go to any AA meeting) or any other addiction people can get.

Maybe being "proud" of smoking pot is kinda dumb but drinkers have their in-jokes too, so do all people who share an interest.

If you don't wanna do pot, more power to ya, that's great if it works for you but don't go judging people on their life choices and I'll try to do the same for people who choose to be narrowminded.

Whew.. I'm out :D

Its a lifestyle....everyone has their own reasons, and their reasons dont make them any less or "narrowminded" of a person than the reasons of the people that do choose to have that lifestyle.

:) :) :) :) :)

Yup well said! Space, SPAM! lol.

And Adderall doesn't get you high, lmao.

It helps you focus and keeps you awake. I said it made me a better dancer because one night after studying I went out and danced my ass off. :P

Some people here like to live a little:)

Yeah maybe that last comment was kinda below the belt ;) But that's the point I was trying to make.. Everyone should do what they feel works for them.

Dude shouldn't you be busy writing lyrics for 13 year old mexican girls to sing along with? Working on some choreography maybe? Clearly comedy isn't your forté.
