Good job guys. Gaming on the OC48 has been better, in my opinion, since the SS and GFU have been getting along. [/B][/QUOTE]

Just a personal note:
I get along with most players and will not dis anyone, I only taunt for fun.

There is a problem on Oc48 that needs to be cleared up, some S.S. you see out there are not real S.S. they have taken up the name without Consent of Elite who started this, I will post names when I see them of who is not, from now on!!!!.

I still would like the S.S. to have some pratice time with a smaller group of warriors, as it is totally different then
a mass of guys.

Hey pie, I've noticed a lot of players as well, I really don't care anymore, most of them don't even have the name in blue and second, we should all know who the real members are...

Hey, have you seen the new SS clan??? lol that is too funny and bunch of noobs have SS on their name but NOT S.S. just SS in white...

Damn Elite, what have you started? lol :) if we were a product, we would have been out of business because of the so many knock-offs :)

What my concern is that the ones that carry the name are the ones who make the trouble, The other night I saw a few with the S.S. in blue on OC48 I asked if they were new and got no awncer, until Elite showed up and stated that the guy was not a True S.S., bad part of this is that we dont know somtimes who Elite allows in.......
And yes I did see the SS on a few newbs!

Ill see you on the battlefield!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Named or not it becomes blatantly obvious who is a legit and who is not. A newb is a newb is a newb, whether they have ss, gfu or ash, and no matter the color. Anyone with a set of eyes can tell if you're faking, and if you can't, the scoreboard is usually a safe bet. I would take it as a compliment if these people picked my name to copy. Though they do lack imagination, and even personal identitiy, I must say they pick the right people to rip off. I'd worry if they started copying other newbs' names! Let the babies have the names and let the real legends have the points.

Not meaning to disagree with anyone about anything but the statement about the legends getting points, I have to disagree with. Points mean nothing about skill. I have seen some people sit in the war room the whole game with a panzer locked on right at the documents. It requires no skill at all and means nothing about how good they are. They pick up a large amount of points without doing hardly anything. The people "which you were referring to" who do get the points are the ones who go out and fight and revive and kill. Then when the allies break that force, they then go to the basement and to the war room which is fine. And then to the reply of when to see this war. It will be December 8th. We have yet to come up with a time. But the maps we are playing are beach and assault.

You raise a valid point KillerMike, I retract my statement.
I may have chosen the wrong words but the idea is still there and I'm sure you know what I mean. There will always be people out there with nothing but dilusions of grandure.

I will make a demo and hopefully the admin will put it in the download section. You then can watch it. We will be using osp v.82a probably...so you'll have to download that to watch it. We're not forsure about this though. Or we can have one spectator who makes a demo flying around everywhere.:P

Where are we playing?

Postby Lord ZOG » Sun Dec 01, 2002 5:44 pm

My server's been crappy lately, and I could not guarantee it's speed/stability for such a momumental meeting...:P

Can we possibly use OC48's other server for that night? MmmmGood and/or Motha might be nice enough to make it go private for about two hours on Sunday.

I can ask MmmmGood personally, if that's what it takes. The other server is hardly being used and I'm sure configuring it for a similar setting as the original server won't be that difficult.

That, to me, would be the most ideal situation. Hopefully my own DSL won't shit the bed...I get nearly hourly DSL jitters with my new COVAD service (which, by the way, I would tell most people to steer cleasr of if they're looking for a decently fast DSL service).

Ya, it would be very nice if the admins of the oc48 server would let us use the other server for this match.

HEY S.S.,

NOW IF THE ADMIN DOES LET YOU USE THE SERVER DO YOU THINK THAT SPECTATER MODE WOULD BE OPEN FOR OTHERS TO WATCH THE MATCH, OR DO YOU THINK THAT WOULD SLOW DOWN THE SERVER.

I'm not SS, but I don't think the spectator mode would slow down the server. But if OC48 admins put the OSP 82a thing on, then we can put a speclock so no spectators can join a team. With OSP you can make it where spectators can't talk either so that they can't give away locations etc.
