5/10 is fair.

If they fix some of the most obvious problems and smooth the gameplay it could be a 7.5/10. I doubt it would ever get higher than that though. Playable but not electric.

Sooo with that said, might as well play CoD, instead of Wolfestein because this is just a spinoff - that introduces supernatural abilities that the community never wanted in the first place.

From whats been said is that this game doesn't compare to the fast-paced action and the tactics that RTCW has to offer, so I see little point in spending 50-60 bucks for this... I'll rent it for the 360, if it hooked me like rtcw then i'll buy it, otherwise gay.

And the game should already be out by now... The reason they pushed for a "global release" was because they didn't want half of their sales saying, "this SHIT FUCKING SUCKS", and lose the other half. They rather squeeze all the monies out of people and then laugh at the idea of shitting on a golden title and getting paid for it.

You have to put it into perspective really. RTcW is one of a kind. Even the other games at the time weren't really anything like it. The odds of replicating that were always going to be pretty slim.

Serves them right for not listening to the community. Serves them right in trying to make another fps that the whole world has played 5 times already... (Cod). There goes the franchises that started FPS... seems oddly familiar with the American Car Industry.

Everyone wants to hope, but nobody wants to face facts.

The company is attempting to save face by acting like they are going to make heavy modifications to the game. They aren't. People are buying the game.

You cannot just modify a game that was created for consoles. As Slaughter said, straight console ports to PC are no question the worst PC games.

The fact they axed the development team right after release just screams that the company just wanted to push anything out to make money. They have dicked around for so many years that when the deadline finally came, the game needed a tremendous amount of work. People buying the game have must never played a console ported PC game. They are truly awful and this is no exception.

People are talking about "potential" of the game. A modder out there will have to spend unbelievable time creating a competition mod that people will want to play. Even then, the game still won't be better than RTCW or even ET. That is pathetic.
