HELP- Waiting for response from master server

After I load up wolf and select the multiplayer menu, I click on "get new list", but nothing ever appears, just says "waiting for response from master server". I am running XP, have GOTY pack and patch 1.4 lite installed. I have disabled my firewall and have chosen the correct "internet" and "filter" settings, but nothing appears in the list. The only way I can join a server is to bring down the console and type in /connect and the ip number, but this is a bit of a pain. Any ideas what I need to do to see the list of servers.

the main wolf server is down :/ it has been for quite awhile actually

It seemed okay a couple of weeks ago but I still have put my faves back into the fave list every now and then.

Just type in the beach ip 205.177.13.42:27960 and get a groove on

My list is fine by the way, I think the mac master server must be different

If any of you still have the instructional manual for Wolf i believe i remember it saying that Multiplayer would end for Wolf on September 24th of 2004. That is most likely why the master server is down, and it won't be back up.

Well the mac version came out later so it would need to be around for longer

No master server- now that is not good news:mad:

So where can I get a list of active servers from as I was hoping to try out some UK servers as my ping is so much better, and maybe visit some of my other favourite maps...

Try The All-Seeing Eye

..thats what i use and it works for me but you may have to pay for it

Go to steves beach 195.149.21.245:27964. I live in cheltenham and I get a 17 ping on that server. It's a good server.

.....and with the all seeing eye, at last I can see some servers...yippee!!!! LoL, I go away to have a baby, come back and Wolf goes up the creek, lol.

Yeah, I had the same problem for awhile, I thought it was a problem with my system. Guess not. That sucks that the server is down.
