Post all awesomely binds

Postby El Snipo » Sat Jan 08, 2005 9:23 pm

Yo, I've seen a few request posts in the past, and maybe even some actual posts for this too, but from time to time I see some pretty cool binds people have, I use one that like everyone has, the /omw (affirmative on my way!) and I used to have another pretty cool one that was like "there he is, get him!" when you press the button you bound it too, forgot that one though, anyways I just want to see which cool ones you guys might be using, and lets see who has the most awesomely one!

you never will be able to, no matter how many years you train, no matter how hard you try. So that's incentive for you to just give up now. haha ;)

martial arts is a great thing to start, and you can start at any age (although the younger the better)

ive trained in a lot of different forms such as aikido and tae kwan do, a little judo and greco roman style wresting as well...its really good stuff and keeps you mentally fit. definately get involved if you have time

as a matter of fact, shinyo-ryu is a form that was incorporated into aikido, the original developer (whatever his name is) had studied that as well and incorporated it into the form...so chances are el snipo you'd be a walk in for aikido training

really? didn't know that about shorin-ryu/aikido, that's really cool... tell me a bit about aikido, I've always been interested in it, it's quite defensive, right?

Very defensive, the whole concept is that you can defend yourself with out exerting much energy in attacks. . .it is a very non aggressive form, yet very deadly. Aikido's main principle is that the one is used to strike the many. We're trained to be mindful of attacks coming from all directions. All the movies you see where 8 guys come at one and he somehow wipes them out is a form of aikido. Its a great form but very in depth

sounds awesomely... shorin-ryu believes in a somewhat similair system, where there is no first strike... there are three levels essentially; go no sen, sen no sen, and finally sen sen no sen. the first is blocking an attack, then attacking... the second level is where you're good enough to the point where your blocks are your attacks and your attacks are your blocks... the final level, sen sen no sen, is where you have become so good, you don't even need to fight, because it is no longer necessary as you can see problems long, long before they happen and already adept to avoid them. good stuff.
