Random problem
I have a random problem which you may or may not be able to help me with:
When I play wolf in a window rather than in full screen everything is normal: The trenches look normal and I can read the console. This also means that I can turn up r_intensity and r_gamma so that I can play on a nice bright map.
By contrast when I play in fullscreen mode setting r_intensity and r_gamma to just 2 means that the trenches go bright white and glow so that I can't see the crosshair if I aim in them and can barely see players running through. More annoyingly though the console also goes white and the text there is completely illegible. In the past I dealt with this by binding r_gamma 1 to a key allowing me to turn the brightness down too dark to play but dark enough to read the console. Now I wonder whether they may not be a beter solution.
So basically does anyone have any idea what is happening in fullscreen that messes up the brightness but which doesn't happen when playing in a window?

No way!!!!!!!!!! Parrot has told me that a Mac rules and with this said Mac he never has any problems so obviously it's someone posing as Parrot writing about a problem. Isn't that right Parrot....tell me it aint you....I was just on my way out the door to purchase said Mac but now I'm reconsidering....

Sorry you're having problems Parrot...I'm a computer genius...not a Mac genius....lol......

its because you have your monitor adjusted for regular use.. try turning your brightness down on your monitor then run the game full screen. i use a mac also.. but i always run it full screen just because it disables normal hot keys except command-Q ..so when i suddenly log off. its because i sprinted and leaned left at the same time.. haha
