Question for Medics
Hey everybody. This might seem like a ridiculous question, but here it goes anyway. I sometimes have trouble 'aiming' my needle properly and as a result it can at times take me two or three times before I successfully revive someone. Any tips on this? I didn't think I was that bad at aiming:P , but I've been ridiculed a few times on the server for my inefficiency. I especially have problems doing it on stairs. Thanks people, love playing with you all (mostly
)

Hello Buddy,
The best advice I can give you is to always crouch down when you are reviving someone, the needle goes in easier. And also aim for the red icon on their torso. After you have revived them give them 2 or 3 medpacks to top their health back up.
The more time you play as medic the faster you become at reviving people. I was probablly more useless at it than you when I first started out. But I worked at it and now I get lots of compliments for doing such a good fast job. Give it a few weeks and you will soon be wheeling around. But don't be too good as you might do me out of a job.
Hope that helps.
Best Regards,
Giggles.
Buddy, Have you ever spectated a medic? It might be good experience for you just for one night, don't play the game but actually sit and watch and see for yourself how a medic "plays". It's just an idea for you.

Hey Buddy you revived me a few times on the server today, and you seemed to be doing a good job. Actually you were one of the better medics, so dont bother with what others tell you. Funny thing, I was trying to revive Burningwick today, and couldnt because I had accidentally hit chat 't' which is right by my '5'. I just stood there for like evvvvveeerrrr trying to press escape to draw my needle. The best thing to do is practice, there are no real tricks, except for crouching which you already know.

Buddy, so you think that you are having fun now.. wait until you try to revive one that has binded the /+salute (to push)... now that takes talent.. I was messing with El Cid earlier for having his push on.. It was cool in the trenches, getting the little push helped in a few occasions, but when I tried to revive.. I had to take a running jump start to land right on top of him... or scoot him into a corner..that works too .... good luck...
practice, practice, practice, practice......
practice, practice, practice, practice......
