other games?

Postby sgtslaught42 » Mon Mar 07, 2005 12:19 pm

I have really enjoyed the action on the beach over the last few months, however, what are the other good multiplayer games out there? Is battlefield 1942 the next logical choice or is there something better. I just got a new computer and I should be able to play just about anything now. Any suggestions you have would be great! :help:

Since graduating from RTCW, i've enjoyed BF1942 a lot. Especially the smaller maps. Whats great is that the ECGN crowd of BF1942 are really cool and very helpful when you first pick up the game. Talk to Tommy Boy or Bladerunner about the action on the server.

have you played counter-strike source? it's hard as hell when you first start out, but you get used to it after a while.

I play ET for now. I plan on trying BF2 when it comes out and RTCW2 when it comes out.

some people on this forum really like Planetside, which I have but since uninstalled as I didn't like it too much. Others seem to like SW Galaxies.

BF is great when you get over that learning curve, BF2 looks freaking awsome

Half-life is a must get

RTCW2 most likely a 3 yr wait for that

Call of Duty has a massive number of servers, really huge community. I'm so stuck on how RtCW works, though, I have a hard time playing that game. Just different enough that it's hard for me to switch back and forth.

The graphics are really beautiful, too, if you have the machine to drive 'em.

And really, why get all fancy? Q3A is still fun.

I tried MOH but I couldn't get into it. The multiplayer was all chaos and no structure, I couldn't really see what the point was. I guess I could have stuck at it a little longer but wolf is so good who needs to...
