I recommend Dr.Weil's daily vitamin for adults and this for children, it is an email I received....:
Hello,
Thank you for writing to Dr. Weil's Vitamin Advisor regarding supplements for children.
Dr. Weil addressed the issue of children's multivitamins in one of his Q & A's available on http://www.drweil.com:
Q: "Do you recommend a multivitamin for children?"
A: "Yes, I do think that children should take vitamins, mostly because so many kids don't eat enough fruits and vegetables and because so often, their diets are full of processed and refined foods. However, vitamin supplements shouldn't be substitutes for whole foods, especially fruits and vegetables.
Start early to teach your children to enjoy healthy food by involving them in its preparation. In my new book, "The Healthy Kitchen", Rosie Daley and I give a number of ideas for recipes and snacks that kids will like. Also, try to discourage your children from eating too much fast food, processed food, sugar and caffeine (in cola and other soft drinks). There's no harm in the occasional ice cream, pizza or candy bar in the context of a well-balanced diet, but try to encourage snacking on healthier foods - fresh or dried fruit, a small handful of raw, unsalted nuts such as cashews and walnuts, a piece of flavorful, natural cheese or a piece of dark chocolate.
As far as supplements are concerned, I recommend giving children a complete antioxidant formula as well as multiminerals. One good choice is the pediatric formula of InVite For Kids Multivitamin & Mineral Formula made by Mariposa Botanicals. You can get information about it by telephoning 1-888-521-5551.*
My colleague Russell Greenfield, M.D., co-author of "Healthy Child, Whole Child," recommends waiting until children are at least four years old before giving them vitamin or mineral supplements. He reminds me that it isn't always easy to find a good child's multivitamin that isn't made with sugar OR artificial colorings. Russ cautions that children between the ages of four and 12 should get no more than 50% of the adult RDA of the major vitamins and minerals, especially the fat-soluble ones (A,D,E, and K), from supplements. After age 12, kids can safely take the adult dosage.
Be sure to keep the vitamins out of the reach of young children - because some supplements for kids taste and look like candy, there is a danger of overdosing, especially when supplements contain iron."

What daily vitamins would u recommend for children, and is there a link to
info on the drweil.com site? Or can they take the same vitamins that adults
can but in lower dosage?
Btw, u might be interested in the finding of real Hobbits. Scientists have found their bones, and have confirmed they are hobbits by taking a ct scan of their brains, and comparing skull size.
The hmm, i think area 10 of their brains, the part that deals with problem solving is HUGE, which allows them to be intelligent even though their brain size is small. The lack of food on the island they were found is also a factor that made them shrink in size over a thousand years or so. They lived about 18k years ago, hehe.

Heres the poem I wrote bout a decade ago or so heheļ::::::::
Thoughts overpower me, confining my soul, so complex and vast growing more as I get old,
which mold my being to feel out of place, with this universal state of corruption and greed, all in my face with conformity and regulations I dissaprove of with no hesitation, words laced with a sugar coating taken easily down, by the common man, but I must frown.
My feelings diverse so uncompatible with others' dreams of simplicity.
How quickly they unravel in my heart and I feel their sorrow, but I know they can't borrow my passions and desires so complex, words do not exist for such text, but I perceive more and more, always confident one day soon, I will explore the inner depths and reaches of my psyche, discover the reason for my being delivered by my fate, to be one who is great, never taking what is given on my plate, one who degrades all hate, conceptions that nothing is impossible, all that stands in the way is the injurious way people have been convinced to stay in a prison.
Sad how some never find themselves truly, living unruly, accepting strange duties, living in a personal hell, my pain swells when they relate how they accept these things instead of choosing their dreams, but I cannot hold back and retain my heart.
I despise the government's plot, convincing some to work twice hard at a job, receiving less and doing more, materialism is such a whore, spreading to all, like I feel in a war, alone fighting all who say it can't be done.
Making the world a better place to live, if not for us, for our kids, so we all can live, in peace not strife, I know its possible, I have seen the light, because I believe, and not afraid to attempt to achieve anything less, this is the test, that we all must take before we are lied down to rest.
We can't overcome, until we all stand as one, regardless of the place we are from, and abolish corruption from the minds of the young, and teach the old to change their hatred into love, to solve problems without violence and deaths of the innocent, before people begin to be ignored, their thoughts never to be heard, dying out like a strange being, until all that is left is humans with no meaning, wasting their lives with no escape to ever accomplish their dreams, because they lost the ability to use their brains.
Hope thats not too much for one post oopsie lol:)

Suddenly, from behind the rim of the moon, in long, slow-motion moments of immense majesty, there emerges a sparkling blue and white jewel, a light, delicate, sky-blue sphere laced with slowly swirling veils of white, rising gradually like a small pearl in a thick sea of black mystery. It takes more than a moment to fully realize this is Earth¡Khome. My view of our planet was a glimpse of divinity.

Check nat'l geographic for more info.
