Favorites (problems)
Help!!!!!! I was tring to add a server to my favorite list, entered the name and address, clicked ok....and got garbage for a name and non-working address. No big deal, but now I can't delete it. To make things worse, I tried it 3 times...lol
So, the question I got is...Does anybody know the file where favorites are stored, or a good way to delete my screw ups?

I noticed that when you add Favorites that you should not use the keypad (the number-pad on the right on the keyboard).
I usually do this. I click "New Favorite" then I type a bogus "Name" (because what-ever you type in there will be changed anyway) then I enter the IP using the number row along the top of the keyboard.
I'm not sure why things get screwy when you use the keypad, it must be a bug of some sort.
Lemme know if that helps you out.

I have the same problem. But it didn't involve the number pad. In fact, those botched favs are still there. Let me know if you figure out how to delete them.

Just download the all seeing eye, you can get a free version and it will allow you to add 4 buddies to your buddy list. (more if you register).

Is this normal? When I put my server up on the internet for all to join, I cannot see it myself in the main list , nor can I see it on pathfinder. I can join it though, by selecting "local" and then adding it to my favourites. Then clicking on it to join. I know other people can see it because they have connected to it from time to time. But, why can't I see it. I have done page refreshes, get new lists, server options, even chose obselete maps hoping the server would show up, but no luck!
It's just a bit annoying that's all.......

Giggles when you select local it's for Local Area Network (LAN).
That's when you connect two or more computers in the same room or building ... etc. But that isn't on the net for everybody to see. Only when you put it on the 'Internet' setting will people see it as a server for everone to join.

......yeah, I know that bit......After accessing the "create server" screen where it says dedicated you have 3 options, none, local and internet, I do choose "internet". I choose my other server settings then click apply. Wolf closes and the console box appears on desktop. But when I go back into wolf to see the list of servers, mine doesn't show.
There are 3 options for multiplayer, "main" , "favourites" and "local". I first have to select local (UDP), then add it to my favourites, then click on my favourites to then see my server and I have to join it from there. If I just connect from Local (UDP) I know that one is just LAN, but when it appears on my favourites it is broadcast on the net, I know this as strangers have joined in on occasion.
But my problem is I can't get to see it in the "main" server list. I know other people can.
Sorry, my fault for not explaining clearly. It is a bit hard to explain.
Thanks,
Giggles.
