RTCW Movie - Rabia Season Nine
Hello. I've enjoyed playing on ECGNetwork's Beach server and have come to recognize all of the familiar faces in the crowd. The fact that the server regularly packs 40+ players a night is a testament to the greatness of this game. I know that the only reason all of you still play is because you enjoy it as much as I do.
I'd like to share a Wolf movie that a teammate of mine, Kalamazoo, made a little while back using footage from a season of my clan at the time, Rabia.
To give a little background, all of the action is taken from season 9 of OSP (a mod, like Shrub, but geared toward competition). The TWL and CAL leagues set two teams against each other on a different map each week, 6 on 6.
We use voice communications (Ventrilo) to execute our strats, with positions at crossfire chokepoints on defense and carefully-timed and coordinated rushes on offense. There are unlimited lives, but because you have only five other players on your team, waiting to respawn for 30 seconds will really hobble your team's chances of withstanding the other team's attack. A lot of the exceptional players you see on the server have been forged in the crucible of OSP competitive leagues. Keeping in mind that it's 6 on 6 and the skill level is quite high, a three man panz or multiple SMG kills are an achievement.
Rabia Season Nine (253 megs)
It's a hefty file, but for the RTCW fans out there - and if you are still playing this game after 4+ years, you are one - you'll enjoy seeing sexy Wolf action set to good music. There's a wide variety of settings, to remind you to get your sunburnt ass off the beach every once in awhile. And you might even recognize one or two names. Enjoy.

P.S. Kalamazoo made another hilarious movie for clan Yakuza back in season 4 or 5, but it's another beefy file. If anyone knows of a place where I could host it, I'll be happy to share.

On a similar note, Cicatriz was the original reason why I registered on these ECGN forums in the first place...Coincidentally, I just started on my 2nd rtcw movie 2 days ago, and hes one of the major stars (along with [KtX]Marlins and a few others)
PS: Nice movie editing

Thanks for all the replies so far. I'm glad some of you enjoyed it. I agree that Kalamazoo did a bad-ass job of editing. He also created the mod that allows you to see the name of the person you're speccing in each clip as well as having the formatted names of everyone on the screen pop up. He did that through Wolf, not in Premiere.
Jimmy, I don't remember the details of that incident, but I do remember how you were banned. I believe the admins witnessed you TKing multiple people that day, not just me. A bad day at school or the office?
Secondly, Conscious is a noob.
MoJo, apparently Elliott aka Aequitas was sucked into the black hole that is World of Warcraft. I saw a lot of the footage for his movie in the works, including the two clips you mention, and you would not believe the insanity present therein. I really wish he'd get around to finishing it up.
By the way, there is no way, 100%, that Elliott hacked. I played with him when he first started out with Shrub-crossover squad True Soldiers, through Rabia and Inertia. I'd get an opportunity to spec him whenever I was gibbed, which was a lot, and he's just an extremely smart and aware player.
Same goes for the core group of Rabia, who are some cool dudes. Cicatriz is slick and Battleaxe is simply beastly. Both were totally underrated. At least Axe is getting some props with u5 in Enemy Territory. I didn't know Cicatriz used to frequent ECGN, but I'd love to see video of that.
P.S. Conscious is a noob. What the heck kind of name is Conscious anyway?!

Ya, I've seen old demos of Rabia before in matches, they look legit to me. Its just Cicatriz probably didn't care about shrub or ECGN, so he felt it wouldn't matter if he got banned. He didn't frequent ECGN, he was here for a few days (most likely to just "experiment"). I'll try to work on finishing up my movie by the end of the week, school just started again for me so I've been busy lately.
And yea, World of Warcraft is one freakin' addicting game =P

All of rabia was always extremely underated, including you. I always thoguht Battleaxe was one of the best panzers in the game, but Rabia never got much props.
