Hitsounds Not Working

Postby hiki » Wed Aug 24, 2005 11:18 am

I've set /hitsound on and for some reason, it doesn't work. However, when I'm speccing someone else (who I assume has hitsound activated), I can hear them properly. Anyone come across a problem like this before?

Nope. Try turing it off then turing it back on again, if you havent tried already, hope that helps. :)

I tried both suggestions, and still no luck. What exactly do you type in console? I tried lots of variations like /hitsound on, /hitsound ON, hitsound "ON", etc. Also, should the soundpack only be installed in /Shrubmod?

I thought it was just /hitsound in console and it will tell you if it's on or off. You might want to ask MAA if you see him, he fixed it for me a long time ago but as to remembering what he did? I have no clue, lol.

It's only: /hitsound.

Or bind it to a key:
/bind button "hitsound"

Then you can turn it on or off by pressing the button.

I use hitsounds more because I am used to them than anything else. I have no problems on servers that have them off, I just find them reassuring.
