Surfer Girl

Not a Noob this Weekend

Postby Surfer Girl » Sun Sep 18, 2005 11:13 pm

I don't know where to start an off topic thread, or if anyone cares. But OMG, this weekend I surfed the bigggggggest waves that I have ever seen in my life. True 10 footers comming from the south that curled and had the best white water ever. I am so stoked to have been able to go out. You guys would have been proud of me. If you want to go into surf like that you had better be in shape and ready to paddle your ass off to get past the breaks. Some of the guys out there couldn't paddle, duck, dive or anything to get out into the ocean and wait for the next swell. When I made it the first time the guys who where mostly old timers who could surf any wave they wanted all started to talk to me and showed me some respect. They let me try my first HUGE wave in my life. Go Surfer Girl, Go, Paddle, Paddle. They were yelling, I was on top of the world. OMG, I wanted to cry. I had to tell you. See ya on the beach. As soon as my eyes stop burning. WOOOOOOOOWHOOOOOOO. Megan

Mine's 160cm. But, it's a snowboard.

Never tried surfing... would love to. But, being in upstate New York, the opportunity doesn't really present itself. :)

I don't surf as much as I used to but for about 15 years it was all I did. I now am left with a 61 Aussie V-Jet and a 9' Blake.

Where you from surfer girl?
