It toggles salute bound to +forward on and off by pressing f6 so you can automatically push people out of your way or not!:tard: salute scriptOkay ttyl.Im hoping the people at rtcwfiles will add it to their script downloads becuase I want to be famous! But anyway please try it out. Image

Thanks El Cid!!! I'm inserting it into my RTCW installation right now.

One thing, who do I make this line "/exec salute/salute.cfg" to start automatically when I start up wolf?

:( I can't make your script work :(
I ve copy/pasted the 3 files salute.cfg, saluteoff.cfg and saluteon.cfg in the main menu (can't put it in autoexec.cfg).
Then in game console, I've entered "/exec salute/salute.cfg".
Responce: coouldnt exec salute/salute.cfg
Could you tell me if I did something wrong, I would realy love to be able to use this script, it would be very useful!

no prob. the bind for arrow up is "uparrow" , now in saluteon.cfg and saluteoff.cfg just replace the "w" with "uparrow". and try it again.

Yeah sure! Okay,

1. Sounds to me like you put the individual files into the Main folder. So you need to have the whole folder "salute" in the main folder, and then type in what you just typed "/exec salute/salute.cfg". let me know if this works for you.

Don't worry about it. I make like a million mistakes. Just ask Lord Zog. Look:

About MS Word to edit the script, that should not work, unless you save the file as a .cfg file. Also (and Zog pointed this out to me) Windows will automatically hide file extensions like .cfg from you! So know matter what you do you cant rename a file to ".txt" for text or ".cfg" for config. Turn this off by going to "tools" "folder options" "view" and then deselecting "hide extensions for know file types" then press " ok". Its annoying about windows but once its turned off Im fine.

open "my computer" then go to view and then options, once in options click on the view tab select show all files. ;)

Yeah, its sort of confusing but make sure you close out that MS Word program. Make that change in the "My Computer" folder.

I had to adjust the script. I forgot to add some parenthesis as somebody pointed out. So if you previously installed it, I would suggest your reinstall it even though it worked before. Just for continuity and because its more correct if you know what i mean.
