suggestion- spawn shields
just a suggestion here to see what people think about this.
with the limited airstrike/arty capibility and pazer limit/recharge, a normal spawnshield time might work out better. just a thought, it seems like you have way too much of an advantage as a freshly spawned axis player. espesialy barracks spawners like myself.
it seems on the surface that the long spawn time helps the allied side but i really think it actually gives the axis the advantage. the bulk of the round is played in the base where allies constantly strugle to get through the UB or past the barracks shooting at seemingly invincible opponents.
there would be some bad trench panzers towards the begining of the round but in the long run i think it would be more even.

spawn sheild should be 20 secs for you axis cheese ball panzers that shoot into the bunker or along the trenches, play allies where the REAL men play, and the stats mean shit......you /kill king

Yea Twitch, I agree with you. They should be changed back to default of like 3 seconds spawn shield. There is no reason now for the spawn shield since the panzers have been reduced and airstrikes are pretty much no more. It'll take away the spawners in axis barracks, and it'll allow allies to set up a spawn camp on axis once in a while. It should definitely be at least tested. If people complain, you can always put it back to 5 seconds. It should still be given a try though.

I hate the non stop axis spawners above steps....i agree Mike, some change would be nice......this game has about a minute left, if things don't really change

It's already been turned down a few weeks ago. If they are still killing you there it's not cos of the spawn shield. The shield runs out just about as you get to the door at the top of the stairs. If you are fast you might get a second or so of immunity but that's about it. Trust me when I say you don't want 3 second spawn shields, I know for damn sure I'd be up on the upper base with a panz and another soldier swapping the panz to make sure you never cleared the trenches, and I'm willing to bet mik3 would be as well

you can do that anyway... just wait for them to get to the steps. and if you want to do that... fine, who takes the trenches to the steps anyway? nobody who wants to live.

Hell back in the day I remember working in 3s; 2 guys to swap the panz and a third guy to run down an block the allies in the bunker. Of course that was pre ff on but the principle is sound, you'd only have to hold them for a few seconds anyway...
Nah 3 second spawn shilds is a bad idea. It'll just encourage people to spawn camp and spawn camping is uberlame.

Barrack spawn is strong for a 4-6 sec shield, can flaten out probly 4+ allies(with a low ping on lower).
kill the spawner code line. 'u-shoot-you-are open for fire' method would be better.. if you kill the shield time more door blockers will camp your spawn out;
Bf2 really needs a spawn shield, nothing like getting artilleried on a flag to no more to a 20sec wait...
