Ownitschcup2 FINALS tonight!

Postby S.Shooter » Tue Jun 06, 2006 11:04 am

Team Mindcage had an awesome Ownitsch cup two years ago. After lot of pressure from oldschool players and noobs they descided to go for another cup. And what a response. 39 teams (!!) signed up. Several 'ol school players teamed up and gave the cup a go. World top teams like KiH, one.soldier, eDged and Scelesto has been seen.

And now, after a hard and exciting group play the Ownitschcup2 is now down to the final! This is prolly the last BiG RTCW final for this game..
Broadcasts:
Shoutcast and WolfTV. wtv (wolfTV) will have 400 slots for anyone who would like to see this actionpacked game.
Shoutcast thrue winamp and famous iTG speakers Tosspot (england)and DJWheat(US) will entertain us thrue the game.

This is how to see the action:
For WolfTV - just type in the console: /connect 85.25.129.158:27961 that will lead you to the waiting room, then in console /TV_WATCH 2 to go the match. If you don't allready have wtv be sure to set autodownload on. You'll need a small pk3 file for wtv (700kb)
For shoutcast: Tune in to http://listen.radioitg.com/listen1.pls

Match will start around 22:00 CET Tuesday 6/6 (central european time, GMT+6) Remember shoutcast is always round 20 seconds before wtv for obvious reasons. Therefore; pause the shoutcast when you hear the countdown from the commentators and unpause when you see match starting at your screen. 3..2..1.. that way you'll sync the match and shoutcast.

Maps: Village and Beach
Teams: svper vs one.soldier

Enjoy!

Ya'll should go play Donkey Kong instead.
There was round 200 wievers at wolfTV. Your loss.

--------------------------------

BTW while on the subject:
Who said there is only about 200 rtcw players left in the world? Saw it earlier on this forum somewhere. Was it B?
Raw facts:
According to csports.net there is 20.000+ playernames for RTCW-Shrub this month.
Sure many use aliases, but still that is alot. Wolf aint dead yet.....

 :D

I watched it. It was dull, probably because I couldn't get the shotcast to work. Competion games always are generally pretty boring anyway though because people play so cautiously. I don't want to see good players looking average because of the competion. If I am gonna watch wolf I want to see good players puling outrageous trick kills on noobs. Much more fun :D

I heard the shoutcast. There was action going on! Too bad the cammer (Toxicgirl) didn't realize that the wievers want to see the action and not some sneaky shit."Adjk" is the best cammer around!! He should had got the honor instead.
Parrot, most of the other broadcasted matches during the Cup was awesome to watch! And if the match itself is dull then it's allways cool to hang out with all other players in spec. Many ol' names..

LoL I was there. I just didn't say anything. Too busy laughing at americans who thought the fact that the europeans only won 1 out of 3 of the Qcon tourneys for wolf held IN AMERICA proved that the americans were better than them.

European tournaments won by american teams anyone? :D
