cvar_r_ext_nv_fog_dist issuse

I might be digging up an old topic, forgive me for doing so, but I've tried about everything to get rid of this problem. PB likes to kick me for this reason, it says it needs to be equal to "0", and I've edited the config file, I even deleted the config following the guidelines of another site. I'm lost.

Is there any way to fix this without a reinstall, will a reinstall even work?

Did you paste your edited cfg in all mod folders?

when you log in you should get like a minute to change it. You need to set it to 0 then do a /vid_restart otherwise the changed setting won't take effect.

What would be the command to change the fog dist to 0, it doesn't like r_nv_dog_dist 0.

- Edit -

Fix worked, but only for on go, meaning it reemerged after logging on again. Thanks for the help otherwise.
