Server log question

Hey, me again..

I've seen a lot of accusations of people having a lag hack.

A lot of people saying it isn't possible or provable etc.

My question is : would there be some stream of commands from the client that would show up on a server log?

I mean, wouldn't that just lag the offender and not the others that they're battling?
