nice find, I dig the new logo and that last picture were you see the guy mowing down ten guys with an MG or something. It looks like a fun single player game but I bet the multiplayer is going to blow big time. I have nothing to base that off of but I just got that feeling.

The problerm with multiplayer ius that these more complex games lag like hell, or limit you to 8 players or less.

Doom 3's multiplayer was a joke. I haven't played Crysis online yet, but I'd imagine it's more of the same.

If RtCW2 is following in the footsteps of these other games, the multi-player will be an after-thought patched on the game after its development is done.

ID software and John Carmack never follow others leads, they break the molds and blaze a new path. After all it was his quake 3 engine so many games were made from. He did hint a new game engine was possible and he said he will not use direct x 10 as direct x 9 has not used its full potential, all good news for people with older pc's. He did mention Steam though which has me a bit skeptical

Steam's not that bad. I like the idea of being able to pay for and download a video-game online with your account, and it automatically updating. Plus you can redownload it and not have to scramble around looking for lost CD Keys. Steam's a lot better than what some people try to crack it out to be.

I wonder how long they will draw this out now. about a year sounds good, then you will be able to pre-order it, but then it will be repeatedly pushed back for about one more year. so I guess about summer 2010.

shooter I couldnt see the video there either but its all over youtube now.
