The problem with electric cars is they ultimately get their energy from the same fossil fuels regular cars do.
Most power plants burn fossil fuels. You'd just be passing the buck to your local power plant.

More and more wind turbines, wave turbines and solar farms are popping up all the time. Fossil fuels will eventually be a thing of the past.
