how do you create a long user name?

Can someone tell me how you can create a long Wolfenstein multiplayer user name, I can only enter as much as 10 digits.

open the console with the ` key (it's to the left of the 1 key). type /name NAME

for colored letters use a ^ with a number after it. something like this:

/name ^6De^7$^6truktor

that would make the De a different color than white, and the $ a different color than the rest of my name.

Or you can bring console down and type /set name (name here)

that way you can do spaces if you have a long name, pardon me im high

Thanks guys but are we talking about the same game? The tilde does open the console, that's what I've tried first.

I am talking about Wolfenstein (the new one).

I was trying to bind a couple names so I could switch between colors but couldn't figure it out.

I had the console open and would type:

bind f9 /setname xxx
bind f9/setname xxx

How should I be doing it?

you don't need the forward slash

In the new game, the command is: ui_name <name>

But there is still a 10 character limit...Just one more bit of lameness in Wolf2MP

I loaded Wolfenstein on my brand new PC last night and was immediately depressed that I couldn't use my whole name.... However, after 10 minutes of playing online I was glad I didn't waste time trying to figure out how to get a long name. It blows, and I want my $50 back. See you on the beach.
