Miss ya Twitch and Mac :D. Slaughter.... fine, I'll miss you too

Only problem now is that PnkBstrA.exe is not responding, and I get the boot :( Updated PB @ evenbalance for the latest files and whatnot, but I do not ever see it running in task manager like I used to.:confused:

What am I missing here?

Did you manually copy the latest files from evenbalance into your pb folder? That usually fixes any pb problems.

PnkBstrA.exe does not exist in my system32 folder, which I know is pretty important for connecting to the PB server.

Try installing this stuff

http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-rtcw.php

These files should auto create the listening agent that you're missing (I think). You might have to do a manual enable the first time you join a server after you install these.

I had a problem somewhat like this and pbsvc.exe is what fixed it.

You the man Twitch. Jump started PB like nothing. Now I just need my old controls back, a few fun binds, and I should be set to really play again! :D

I know that you're all set Nubz but for anyone else who will probably run into the same problem(s) when re-installing RTCW. Download this from Evenbalance:
http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

it will make sure all PB games are up to date and keeps PB working correctly.

if you switch to win7 you will change your mind about that.
