It's cool that peeps are picking up the ven (also homage to Lath, as the best to begin and the "Venom Guru" lol) and trying a few other things ingame. Heck, with only one map going over and over again, it seems likely that this would happen!

the venom is way more powerful in shrub. With a full server and some half brain meds - its not hard to get over 100 kills venoming on axis.

Really it's a roll of the dice. 50% of the time I'm at point blank range and firing right into them, it misses. The trick to giving a slight advantage is to do the opposite of what they expect, and charge at them firing, basically acting like it's a melee weapon. Also, by default an unscoped mauser shot does 50 damage, so I only need to connect twice usually.
