You sure it is wise to post that here? I don't think it is legal if it is a leaked beta. I realize you would not have to pay for it but it's still not supposed to be out.

ECGN CAN GET IN TROUBLE IF THERE IS STUFF LIKE THAT POSTED ON THEIR BOARDS. THAT IS WHY MOST SITES HAVE RULES STATING THAT THERE IS NO WAREZ. WITH ECGN HAVING ONE OF THE MORE POPULAR SERVERS, I WOULD BET THAT SOME PEOPLE WHO MADE THE GAME VISIT HERE THE ODD TIME. No more caps...

I was trying to warn you that you might get in trouble/edited for that link. Although, I do not exactly know the rules here regarding that so I could be wrong. Seems you would just rather fly off the handle over nothing? If it's fine and I am wrong, so be it.

Actually....

The whole purpose of a beta is to test its abilty for large-scale gameplay and for gamers to find and post any bugs that are found.

In the case of warez... well, usually warez falls under pirated software that one is "supposed" to pay for.. in this case, eventually the download will be free anyway... soooo.. no harm-no foul.. I think it would be very benificial for the Activision game designers to have an extra place to peek into for extra input.

So far, I have seen very many high ping servers running this mod and it is quite irritating, especially when trying to learn the newest features of the game. I can't wait until ECGN loads up a server.. but I can understand completely if they do not, simply because it is still BETA.. nothing like fielding hoards of questions about a game that isn't even offically released yet.

You made good points but I look at it like with the DOOM 3 leaked demo, if you heard of that? The designers were pissed that it was leaked and were very angry with ATI for letting it get out. Even though it is in beta, I think it is more of that fact they have not given permission for it to be out yet and people are playing it that pisses them off.

Yes, i have the doom3 beta demo, maybe it´s a beta test program, and is ilegal to own it if you are not working on ID or whatever but the difference between them is that ENEMY TERRITORY is going to be released for free download and DOOM 3 is copyrighted program that needs to be bought to be played
