Do you think should be a limited number of snipers
Since many of you sugested me to make a poll about the sniper issue.
Its my fist poll, hope it works:P

Darwinian tendencies
I say let the brain-dead, sellfish losers ruin the game for their team...maybe someday they'll get the point.

When I went sniping, I had pretty much the same amount of kills at the end of the game as to when I also played a medic... And even more kills as a Lieutenant.
My point is that when you are just a sniper, you are only really doing one good thing for your team. If you play a medic or lieutenant you are doing many many many more great things for your team.
Giggles.

You do have a point, but it only holds true with an ineffective sniper (not chirpin your sniping skills). For the most part an experienced sniper can easily get a large sum of kills on beach (with 64 people the kills are steady), and it helps clear up choke points making it easier for allied to advance. Still, as I said in a previous post, too many snipers doesn't help anything. I voted that snipers be limited to 3.

Now the snipers on beach map are just a waste of players..
I don´t want to annoy anyone but most of them just shoot every axis they see, and it had to be" shoot every each axis approaching an allie who is holding the docs, on upper platform, covering other team members while trying to reach the backstairs", etc...
This is just my opinion, please do not take any offense about this.

I voted no limit, cos with 32 players on the team, 4 panzers, 2 flamers and limited snipers the noobs would get to have all the fun. What's with the excessive regulation anyway, you boys nazis or something?

Snipers are important for the allies at the start of a round. It is necessary to "keep the heads down of axis players" until the engineers can do their thing. After that one or two is MORE than enough. Snipe, blow the wall and door, drop the rifle and look for a better weapon!

Zero? How come I didn't see a zero? HUH?? I'd have voted the weapon clear out of the game. Pistol is more affective. Or nades.
To be an effective sniper, you have to practice it a lot. Which means a lot of games that someone is wasting a character slot in sniper world. la-la laa la laa la la.
There are some brutally good snipers out there. Ming, naturally, takes the cake on that one. U can't even CRAWL around without him picking you off. And it isn't usually a wounding shot. It's a stop dead in your tracks and watch someone else play as you wait to respawn shot. For snipers like Ming I wish there was a slither-on-your-belly function.
Still, as any experienced player knows, for every Ming out there, there are 3,401 noobs who'd be lucky to even wing somone with 20 rounds.
Nix the sniper rifle and bring in the para-gun rifle. Now THERE'S a gun that rocks.
