Got banned. Don't know why

Ban happened around 10-10:30pm EDT on ECGNetworks #1 playing El Al

I usually play as Corp. Punishment, but I just rebuilt my PC and was playing for a while to make sure the video drivers were OK.

My screen name was just some dots and spaces.

my 1st five hash digits are: d1fc0

I was in-game for about 5 minutes and got banned. Don't know why. I don't usually read the chat messages, so an admin may have been telling me something, but I didn't see it. I really like this server, but if you don't want to unban, can you at least tell me why so I don't get banned elsewhere for same thing?

You likely got banned for the name, unless it was something you said in chat. I was not the admin responsible, but give this 24hrs and the responsible party will post a reason and response.

It was probably a temp ban. Names aren’t usually perma banned unless they are racisist. Try logging on now I bet you get in.

Well, I am not the admin that banned you, but you don't have a very good record on this server.

I say the ban stays for now. Ask again in a month and we will see what happens.

It could also be that he messed up entering his key in the hash program.

yup, that must be it. corp. punishment's hash was banned on 7/20/2004 2:57:09 AM.

20 kicks and 3 bans from 9 different admins is a bit much for 3 months of gameplay.

Vehicle stealing? How can you take a vehicle is someone is in it already?

Too many snipers??? What in the world difference does it make what unit you pick? I've only got vision in one eye, so the sniper is the easiest soldier for me. I get wasted trying to shoot up close with machine guns.

I have only TKed by accident (bomb drop) or when someone TKed me first.

Kicked for minus score? Have you guys not ever been repeatedly spawn-killed when Allies have all bases?

Team switching? I like to play on AXIS so I switch to it if it auto-spawns me on Allied. If that is against rules, I'll quit.

Too bad there is not a log file of all the times I have spent the whole game on AA to protect bases, or marking artillery targets, or suiciding to come back as a mech to repair a teammates tank.

Sounds like some short-tempered folks have been given the Admin keys...

No, we just run a very tight ship here.

Revenge TK's are not allowed.

We do sniper purges because we constantly have half a team of snipers that do NOTHING to help the team.
