Doc may or may not be arriving at a local beach near you...got the flu

and am bored of cod4 on the ps3 so im thinkin about gettin back on the beach server for a bit.

And already i need help...lol. I downloaded the game but am looking for my cd key...cant find it. I have the cd key file saved from my other computer's installation before i chucked it and when i open it with wordpad it says

p2wtwj37sd2g****

unfortunately when i try to install on my laptop it shows im one letter/number short

theoretically could i just use a fake key to install and then replace the file with the legit one? if not, what the hell am i supposed to do
