The You'll see a spereate channel for the Axis/Allied teams.

Depending on who holds it, I thought it wasn't a bad idea for the Allies to move their M10 back there or the Axis to move a Tiger there. With infantry watching for engineers and their pesky mines/expacks you probably won't lose that flag.

Thanks ponderous, i will check the logs and let you know
soon about the decision.

it's quite obvious to me that xenius and this Bagginses have
no idea how to play the game.

it might help if you could give a brief description of the best
way for allies to win Battle Of The Bulge.
thanks again for your input

ponderous, please forgive me, i was pulling your leg a bit.
i agree with Bagginses and the others about defending the
depot.

on this server the tactics go a little deeper than just run
and gun. one very important thing is supply lines, in any
battle if your supply lines are cut off and your force is
surrounded, it means game over.

Bulge is a perfect example, whoever owns the depot owns
all the armor that spawns there.

Wake is another good map to demonstrate the value of
supply lines, whoever owns the airport on Wake owns the
planes that spawn there.

And to think, if Axis gains the airfield, they get 3 extra planes plus the two on their carrier.

El Al is also another map focused on supply lines. The barren sands of North Africa means getting from point A to point B, won't be a quick jeep ride. Even if you travel in groups, you might get blasted by enemy aircraft.

thanks for all of the responses and I do have teamspeak and will get on your chanel when playing from now on so I under stand what the team I am playing on is doing. did not know that your server had a set team speak chanel. thanks for the info, hope to see if I can learn more about the game from your players. but still find it hard to know that a resource like a tank should be tied up for the hole game on defence in the back

It is simple. The Allies have one flag the produces all of the vehicles except for one(the M10).

If the Allies lose that, they lose the map.

So, you keep at least 1 Sherman back there. That Sherman shoudl also have an engineer to lay mines at the entrances.

Don't forget it's the same with Iwo Jima, lose the Airfield and it's all over...

Don't forget Coral Sea, lose the carrier and you lose quickly.
