im not sure when it happened, a couple days ago. it started out with me joining an empty server to learn how to fly better, then the game started with some small amount of people. some dude on my team asked if i wanted to help him get a knife badge so i said watever, we met up with some op4 guys and i got my badge. later on i talked to the guy who reported me and he said it was "exploiting". i didnt know there was a term for it much less it being a bannable offense. it was my first time doing it and i dont like being banned from the ECG servers so im definatly not going to do it again, if i get unbanned.

I didn't ban you but I looked at your stats and I see you only have 9 knife kills, which shows that you were probably just getting your badge. Stat padding or exploiting is where three nerds get together and knife, revive, knife and so on to get points.

I'll wait for the admin who banned you to chime in. From now on if you want a certain badge, get it for real in game. Don't meet up somewhere on the map and pull this shit. Your teams might need you guys while you're somewhere playing grabass.

I don't think it would be fair to the other players that play
on ECGN for me to just lift the ban.

Why wouldnt it be fair to unban me? this is the first time ive read any bf2 forums so i didnt know that this stuff was considered cheating. i read both those links u posted and familiarized myself with ur server rules. I wont be doing it again, and all i ask is for a second chance since this is the first time ive really done anything stupid on ecg.
