New LAPTOP
Just got it today!!!!!

was wondering I go out of town alot, is there any way with a wireless, can I just get some connection with out plugging in????????.....need to game on a plane, and outdoors if I want to, I could get a wireless router, but that is only good so for so many miles any suggestions, can I leech or something???????

Ok bud this is what the deal is. Wireless networks really dont stretch that far, depending on the design of the network. I know FSU's entire campus (for the most part) is "wired" for wireless. You cant just turn on your ocmputer and expect to get a signal, you need to be in range of a network (which typically in a office setting would be on the same floor if using a router. Im not up on airplanes and their access to the web using wireless. To my knowledge you cant pick up networks miles away, but if there is a way to please share.
