Want $69.7 million and then some?

Postby =ender= » Tue Apr 18, 2006 2:54 pm

I know a lot of you are interested in gas prices and what-not. I've seen some pretty interesting discussion on these boards in the past about it. Thought you guys would find the following of interest as well:

A $69.7 million compensation package and $98 million pension payout to Exxon Mobil Corp.'s former chief executive and chairman Lee R. Raymond has some shareholders and economists asking, "how much is enough?"

WHat ever happened to people being happy with, oh I don't know... $5-10M ? All these bloated amounts that everyone out there is taking is why people are starving to death and all that crap. If everyone who has over $5-10M would just spread the wealth a little the world would be better off.

Seriously I'll take $500,000 if they're looking to give out money.

I heard somewhere that if you calculate his time there. It comes out to like 100 dollars a minute he was being payed. Including sleep time. Makes me sick. Greed does not even begin to describe it.

Let me paint you a picture. Imagine if you will a guy, not a bad guy.. the trusting sort of guy who turns his back on this other guy thinking he's just another guy. This other guy well.. he has this raging you-know-what and .. well.. he sees an opportunity to bury it. So he takes that opportunity and he hurts the other guy really bad. He does a lot more than touching him in the no no place and he keeps doing it.
