it was on futureweapons. They had a dummy wearing it lay on a grenade and the dummy survived.

I'm guessing it would take about 5 years before the US military would even considering adopting it. They would most likely have a long testing phase, plus the even longer bribery phase as the different companies bribe the shit out the people in charge of these things. Govt is govt after all.:no:
