Postby NightStalker453 » Fri Jun 27, 2003 4:06 pm

Earlier this week I got a new MB and CPU. I put them in hooked everything back up. Now, it doesnt matter what Im doing, my computer will randomly reboot without warning. Has anyone had this problem? If so could u post how fixed it?

What size power supply do you have. This is a problem that sometimes occurs from bad or low rated power supplys.

I have a 300 watt power supply. Earlier today when playing Counter Strike i got green squares all over the screen. I think its either my video card or memory now.

what os? if it's xp try starting up in safe mode, then right click on "my computer" go to the advanced tab and click the settings in the startup and recovery section, make sure you uncheck automaticlly restart in the system failure section then try to reboot the machine you will now most likely get a blue screen, write down the error msg and do a search for it on the internet

I figured out it is my Video Card drivers... wtf? Anyway i was using Nvidia display drivers for XP version 44.03. Im gonna try to find an older version to install, if i cant ill take my luck and see if a fresh install of 44.03 will work.

Ok, I run fine without any drivers at all, but cant play games. I install drivers and my system wont boot, wtf is up? Could a new video card fix this?
