Ok here this goes...
I need to run a BF server from my house. I have BFSM and everything else and the server starts fine and everything else. But my comps go through a router and I need to know how to enable it so people can connect to my server. Did I say that right? But the thing is since the server machine goes through the router, it has a LAN ip address. So How do I do this folks? Help is much appreciated!
(I know almost nothing about networking btw)
P.S. I have a Linksys 4-port router Model #:NR041

Chacal, I used a post that you made in this thread:
http://forums.powervs.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9647&highlight=Server+router to help. In your post you had a screen shot of a router config. I matched all the settings on my Port-Range forwarding Screen and I applied the changes. Now, (If this worked) Is my WAN ip the ip address to the server?
Thanks!

If you have a dedicated server you cant play BF on the same machine as the server.

I wasn't trying to. I was trying to connect from a separate machine on the router.

Use the internal IP address.
On the host machine, do start > run > cmd and type 'ipconfig'. It will show your IP Address, should be 192.168.0.x
