I think this has the potential to be a very good nerve wracking movie.

I watched the trailer. Very good potential indeed. I had heard about this and thought it would be corny but now that I watched the trailer it looks very interesting.....

Yes a little cheesy, but what do you expect from a movie where the actors are in the middle of the water all day? No scenery or nothing....

That trailer made me want to scratch muh butt.

If it was based on a true story it isn't anymore. If they were scubas they probably would have had traing like "how to punch sharks on the nose to make them go away" and a jelly fish sting kills unless quickly treated. meh if they'r going to try to make something look like it really happaned the least they could do it not make the trailer feel like it's talking down to me.

I remember that story. The 2 divers were never found again. I've been diving from boats like this and it's hard not to think about that story when you come up to the surface.

My wife and I went snorkeling about 10 miles off of Key West. We surfaced when we stopped seeing others around us in the water. We were the last two to board the boat - they said they'd been blowing the whistle but we never heard them.... *gulp*. They had a headcount so we were probably never in any danger BUT having not heard the whistle it was a little eerie.

It's kind of odd that a diving boat would just leave unless a Typhoon was going to crush it or something. Cool concept though but it may get sucky after a few minutes of them just talking and crying.

I'm sorry.. two people trained in scuba arn't going to freak out like that. I mean, the first thing you do in a really really really bad situation is NOT freak out. And why hold yourself in the supine position? Why tread water vertical to the surface? Just burns calories trying to do all that.... lie flat, remain calm, kiss your ass good-bye. Maybe tell some good stories to each other about your past.

Guess that doesn't make a good movie though.

Best to thrash around and let the vibrations attract sharks.

:freak:

can't you make a flotation device out of your clothes? i heard that teach that in the navy basicly tie a knot at the ends of the pant legs and filling them with air bull pulling them down in the water rapidlyso the air gets trapped inside

No need, when you go diving you already have an inflatable vest.

That's also why they're floating upright.

I don't know about anyone else...but by the end of the trailer I was already annoyed

the movie 'sounds' like it could be good, but I just don't know how they'd be able to keep my attention if the movie consists of them.....and only them

Ha ha ha. It should be a made for TV movie. AT least that way people won't waste $8 seeing it.

I think that it is a cool idea...but I don't understand how the boat could have left them. If they ever left me behind, and I survived, I would track down that bastard and open a good can of whoop ass on him!

:)

Looks good enough for DVD. Then again I wait for just about everything to come to DVD then I crank the 5.1 at home :D
